The Story:
Jeremy has always wanted a drinking mug just like his Granddads. His mom decides to buy him one for his birthday. The mug is called Claude and he is very excited to be sold at last.
But Jeremy soon loses interest in the mug, so Claude decides to run away. This is his adventure and is a tale about how we should look all after those precious things we love.
This was a story the author would often tell his two daughters when they were younger. He says originally he never got to finish the story because they always fell asleep before he had finished!!
