The Story:
This fantasy story was written by a young 13 year old writer and is about her family.
Leah’s story and descriptions are based on her love of Halloween characters. It is a light hearted look at how she viewed her family at a young age. It was a fun and unusual way and the story is aimed at younger readers.
The story was entered into a writing competition held annually by Winchester University. It won a ‘Commendation’ from the judges with the lead judge stating that Leah kept her guessing right to the very end what character she was. A very enjoyable read.
