The Story:
This story is based on a period of time that the author and her family spent living in Jarkarta, Indonesia when she was a young child, due to her father’s company sending him there.
During her stay there, she and her brother had many great adventures. These included meeting man-eating dragons, coming across poisonous snakes, and running from dangerous butterflies. Not to mention her getting lost in the forest surrounding a large tea plantation in the hillside.
This is a fun, exciting read for all ages, but especially for middle grade kids.
